Funeral services for Kenneth Wayne Odom, 86, of Farmerville will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Zion Hill Baptist Church, near Farmerville, with Rev. Connie Ward officiating. Masonic graveside services will follow in the Zion Hill Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Odom went to his heavenly home on February 17, 2018. Mr. Odom retired as an Instrument Supervison with IMC-Angus Chemical Company with 40 plus years of service. He was an active member and Deacon at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Before moving to Union Parish in 1985, he was the first Marshall of Sterlington and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was an active member of the Robert W. Cretney #420 F&AM. Mr. Odom was a very caring and devoted husband and a great provider for his family, placing emphasis on extending their education. He loved to fly, along with deer hunting and fishing at his home place on Lake D'Arbonne. He and Mrs. Gloria loved going around the country in their RV.

Mr. Odom was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Gloria Neal Odom; and parents, Willie Bert and Eunice Hudson Odom.

Left to cherish his memory is his two daughters, Shirley Odom Stuart & husband, Charles of Calhoun, La. and Jan Odom Crow & husband, Roger of Nashville, Tn.; five grandchildren, Clint Stuart (Sayward), Dr. Anthony Stuart (Kelly), Greg Stuart (Kelly), Christy Crow Mullin (Phillip) and Chad Crow (Ashley); ten great-grandchildren, Michael Stuart, Andrew Stuart, Anna Bel Stuart, Magnus Stuart, Tyler Mullen, Blake Mullen, Madison Mullen, Nathan Crow, Owen Crow and Miles Crow; three brothers, Ira Taylor (Inell), Ross Odom and Gayle Odom; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Clint Stuart, Anthony Stuart, Gregory Stuart, Chad Crow, Scotty Tucker and Walker Bursond.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, Monday. February 19, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
